Blackfriars Brewery
Blackfriars cask-conditioned beers have the taste of tradition running right through them. From the bottom of the glass to the foaming head, our clean-tasting real ales are made by beer-lovers and enjoyed by everyone who loves good beer. Opened in 2004, awarded-winning Blackfriars brought brewing back to Great Yarmouth many years after the closure of the famous Lacons brewery. In September 2008, the brewery moved to larger premises at The Courtyard.

Catherine Youngs - Contemporary Glass Designer
With commissions from London and throughout the region, Catherine’s inspiration comes from patterns, colours and forms found in nature. Through the innovative use of glass, she aspires to achieve movement and form. Using the copper foil method, a decorative technique, she incorporates other materials often found on the beach into her unique and beautiful designs.
